A Champion for Apex

I’m running for Apex Town Council because I believe we can bridge the gap between local government and the people it serves. Our town is growing, and with that growth comes a unique opportunity to increase community engagement and strengthen accountability. That means leadership that prioritizes transparency, responsible development, economic vitality, and ensures our youth have the opportunities they need to thrive—with safety at the forefront.

As the founder of the Apex Juneteenth Festival, I’ve spent the last five years fostering unity, celebrating diversity, and educating our community on Apex’s Black history. This work earned me the Apex Individual Top Thinker Award in 2024, a recognition of the impact we’ve made in bringing people together. Through these efforts, I’ve seen firsthand how powerful community engagement can be—and I know we can do even more to strengthen our town’s connections.

I will advocate for mindful growth that moves Apex forward while limiting tax increases—ensuring we continue to improve without placing unnecessary burdens on our residents. I’m committed to bringing a balanced, solutions-focused approach to Town Hall—one that puts our community first and ensures every resident has a voice in shaping our future.
